Fridge Organization Tips
With the holidays upon us, our fridge is getting a workout of its own. We are sharing our favorite tips to keep our fridge (and sanity) functioning yet fabulous. These tips can be utilized all year long! Tis the season! While these are the simple rules we follow, everything needs to be modified for your specific lifestyle and needs. We’re all different, so there isn’t necessarily a right or wrong way. Whatever works for YOU is the best way. xo
Keep an “eat me“ first bin for all leftover items or about to expire items.
Use individual containers or drawer dividers to separate fruits, veggies, meats, cheeses, etc.
Use turntables to access food easily. Add bins or drawers for additional space.
Prep it! Cut up produce to have on hand for easy grab snacks. Store them eye level to make sure they don’t get lost. Plus, it encourages healthy snacking!
Keep beverages out of the door and on the top shelf. The top shelf is the coolest part of the fridge. The fridge door is the warmest part, so condiments and sauces belong there.
Label everything! Not everything needs labeling, but it doesn’t hurt.
